Ebot is a mini integrated digital computer that consists of a processor, RAM and input/output peripheral devices. Unlike processors used in PCs, Ebot was designed for embedded systems to control operations. The Ebot8 is a microcontroller board based on the Atmel ATMEGA1284P. It has 16 digital input/output pins, an USB OTG capable connection, 2 motors input (right, left) , a power jack, a Sliding switch, RTC - Real time Clock, Accelerometer, Serial communication Tx/Rx, Integerated LED, power off/on switch.
The board contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a Mini-USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. The Ebot is compatible with all Arduino shields that work at 3.3V.
Ebot blockly is graphical programming software used to program Ebots. This software is based on Google Blockly. User can drag and drop nodes to workspace, modify its parameters and can finish programing. Nodes includes input devices, output devices, code flow control elements like delay, logical statements like if and many more.
Code window in right side of the software automatically generate and modifies the code for each changes in the workspace. This code is editable also. All useful features like Debugging sensors, Serial monitor, Node Maker and Live control are embedded inside the software.
User can also play video and music, open any files like image or spreadsheets by using multimedia nodes.
