EBOT Full kit
EBot is a DIY ecosystem developed for students, kids, artists, and robotics enthusiasts to learn, explore and build working prototypes through experiments and games. Entire system includes an electronic development board with wide range of compactable sensors, graphical programming software based on Google Blockly, bunch of wheels, gears, motors, shafts and plastics, books and study materials that help to learn all basic concepts of mechanical designing, programing and electronic prototyping.

This is a buzzer module containing small 12mm round speaker that operates around the audible range. You can use these speakers to create simple music and tones with EBot.
This is a piezoelectric speaker. The connection uses three pin connection including S,V and G as like other Ebot sensors.
EBOT Color Sensor
Ebot color sensor can detect a wide variety of colors based on their wavelength. This sensor is specially useful for color recognition projects such as color matching, color sorting, test strip reading and much more.
The color sensor uses a tcs3472 sensor chip to detect color. It also contains two white LEDs that light up the object in front of it.
Ebot IR sensor
The EBot IR sensor scans IR signals in specific frequency ranges defined by standards and converts them to electric signals on its output pin (typically called signal pin). The IR signals are mainly used for transmitting commands over the air on short distances (typically few meters) like what you’ve already worked with on TV remote controls or other similar electronic devices.
It only requires three connections. When it detects an obstacle within range it will send an output low.

LCD modules are vey commonly used in most embedded projects, the reason being its cheap price, availability and programmer friendly. Most of us would have come across these displays in our day to day life, either at PCO’s or calculators. The appearance and the pinouts have already been visualized above now let us get a bit technical.
16×2 LCD is named so because; it has 16 Columns and 2 Rows. There are a lot of combinations available like, 8×1, 8×2, 10×2, 16×1, etc. but the most used one is the 16×2 LCD. So, it will have (16×2=32) 32 characters in total and each character will be made of 5×8 Pixel Dots.
Now, we know that each character has (5×8=40) 40 Pixels and for 32 Characters we will have (32×40) 1280 Pixels. Further, the LCD should also be instructed about the Position of the Pixels. Hence it will be a hectic task to handle everything with the help of MCU, hence an Interface IC like HD44780is used, which is mounted on the backside of the LCD Module itself. The function of this IC is to get the Commands and Data from the MCU and process them to display meaningful information onto our LCD Screen.
EBOT LED Green
This is a bright green LED module. When you connect it to EBOT board, after program, it can emit bright Green light. you can also control it using PWM. It will be like fireflies at night. You can also combine it with other sensors to do various interesting interactive experiments.
EBOT LED Red
This is a bright Red LED module. When you connect it to EBOT board, after program, it can emit bright Red light. you can also control it using PWM. It will be like fireflies at night. You can also combine it with other sensors to do various interesting interactive experiments.

EBOT Light Sensor
Light Sensor is commonly seen in our daily life and is mainly used in intelligent switch, also in common electronic design.
It consist of Photocell, which is a semiconductor. It has features of high sensitivity, quick response, spectral characteristic, and R-value consistence, maintaining high stability and reliability in environment extremes such as high temperature, high humidity. It’s widely used in automatic control switch fields like cameras, garden solar lights, lawn lamps, money detectors, quartz clocks, music cups, gift boxes, mini night lights, sound and light control switches, etc.
A potentiometer is basically a three-terminal resistor with a sliding or rotating contact that forms an adjustable voltage divider.
The measuring instrument called a potentiometer is essentially a voltage divider used for measuring electric potential (voltage); the component is an implementation of the same principle, hence its name.Potentiometers are commonly used to control electrical devices such as volume controls on audio equipment. Potentiometers operated by a mechanism can be used as position transducers, for example, in a joystick. Potentiometers are rarely used to directly control significant power (more than a watt), since the power dissipated in the potentiometer would be comparable to the power in the controlled load.
Ebot potentiometer consist of 3 pind namely S,V and G(signal, VCC and Ground respectively.)
Relay is an electromagnetic device which is used to isolate two circuits electrically and connect them magnetically. They are very useful devices and allow one circuit to switch another one while they are completely separate. They are often used to interface an electronic circuit (working at a low voltage) to an electrical circuit which works at very high voltage. For example, a relay can make a 5V DC battery circuit to switch a 230V AC mains circuit. Thus a small sensor circuit can drive, say, a fan or an electric bulb.
A relay switch can be divided into two parts: input and output. The input section has a coil which generates magnetic field when a small voltage from an electronic circuit is applied to it. This voltage is called the operating voltage. The output section consists of contactors which connect or disconnect mechanically. In a basic relay there are three contactors: normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and common (COM). At no input state, the COM is connected to NC. When the operating voltage is applied the relay coil gets energized and the COM changes contact to NO.
By using proper combination of contactors, the electrical circuit can be switched on and off.
EBOT RGB LED
The WS2812B (or "NeoPixel") may look like a common 5050-sized (5x5mm) SMD LED, but there’s actually an integrated control circuit embedded inside there too. If you look really hard, you can see the tiny black chip hidden in there, along with minuscule gold wires connecting the chip to the LED. This LED is certainly more than meets the eye! The 'B' at the end of the WS2812 name denotes that these specific LEDs are equipped with and only require FOUR pins instead of SIX!
The LED itself is unlike most RGB (Red/Green/Blue) LEDs. The brightness of each color can be adjusted using a serial string to one of 256 different levels. That means there are 16,777,216 (2563) possible combinations of colors. You can produce any color from white to black (off), or salmon to sienna.
